Designer Netbooks Recap: Fussily Female Digital Clutches

There are a lot of designer netbooks in the market today that are worth several hundred dollars more than your average machine. Aside from the Atom processor, RAM and HDD, you’re also paying for the name that is attached to the netbook as well as the stand-out factor that each netbook has. Here’s a partial list of the netbooks that are available on the market.

Most interesting about the Karim Rashid Edition is the classy lid, “an organic Digi-Wave chassis” and that it’s thinner and lighter than most netbooks. The Vivienne Tam Butterfly Lover is my favorite designer netbook, design-wise. I love butterflies and it’s definitely classier than the first Vivianne Tam design… at least, personally. It also wasn’t as expensive, List price on Amazon was $708.00 but you can now get it for $596.19. It has an Intel Atom Processor N450, 2GB DDR2 memory and 2510GB RAM with a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 display.
