Acer Review, Asus Review – Netbook 10

Here’s another netbook-slash-fashion accessory. Dell’s limited edition netbook from Deanne Cheuk. It’s cheaper and much more reasonably priced than the HP Mini 1140NR Vivienne Tam edition which is still selling at $699.99.

The Dell Inspiron Mini Deanne Cheuk edition is available from Best Buy for $379.99.

Technical Specs include:

• Intel® Atom™ processor Z530
• 1GB DDR2 SDRAM
• 10.1″ WSVGA antiglare widescreen display
• 160GB Serial ATA II hard drive
• Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 500
• Weighs only 2.6 lbs. and measures just 1.1″ thin (3.5 hours)
• Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition

We’ve already had our hands on a Mini 10 and a Mini 10V. Have a look-see here to know the difference. I think, processor-wise, this is a Mini 10. If that netbook-savy/fashionista gal in your life wants a designer netbook, this might just be the best gift you can give her.

Then again, since netbook makers are making designer lids available with their netbook offerings, maybe not so much. The best thing to do then, is to shop around ;)
