The Dell now has a “Performance Plus” package which offers the usual Dell Mini 10 goodness plus extra features such as a Broadcom Crystal HD card, a 10.1″ 1366 x 768 display, 250GB HDD, a 56WHr 6-cell battery, Windows 7 Starter and SRS audio.

That just means that your Mini 10 will be a better multimedia machine. The Broadcom Crystal HD card enables hardware acceleration that will work on a lot of popular players including Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic and Cyberlink PowerDVD, and lets you play 1080p videos and Flash HD on a 1366 x 768 screen.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 usually has the following specs:

• 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor
• 1GB Memory
• 160GB HD
• 3-Cell Lithium Ion Battery
• Dell Wireless-G Mini Card

The Performance Plus upgrade price starts at $409.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is also available from Amazon.com for $320.54, albeit with the usual specs:
