Dell Inspiron Mini 10 With 2G RAM, Vista Now Available

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is now available with 2GB of RAM, but only for the US market. The configuration is currently a promotional offer which means that while the Mini 10 is one of the most customizable netbooks in the market, the current Dell offer option does not include the GPS or the TV tuner. It also comes with Vista Home Basic and SP1, which, I should add, could be a dit of a damper as we all know how “great” Windows Vista works on a netbook (and this one comes with an Intel Atom Z530). Aside from the 2GB RAM, a high note is that this netbook comes with HD 1366×768 pixel display.

Dell Mini 10 Purple

Base price for the 2GB with Vista Mini 10 is $429, but you can add (or subtract… really) $40 to that and choose a few cooler colors. There’s Obsidian Black and Alpine White, or the more adventurous Passion Purple (which I love) and a few with customized stickers.

Dell is also doing it’s share to help the world. If you choose the Red Mini 10, they will give $5 ro the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. The same amount will be given to Cancer Research (Susan G. Komen) for when you choose Promise Pink.

    Thanks for the information. This model looks very decent and has nice features. I am crazy behind The Dell
    Inspiron Mini 10v. It is one of the latest netbooks in the market. Typing is very comfortable though it has a small keyboard. Battery life is quiet long. Glossy 10.1-inch screen is very attractive. It has 1.3MP webcam feature. Overall features are nice but there is no change in the design. Hope Dell comes up with some innovative design.
