Blue Netbook Guide – Best Blue Netbooks
One of my other favourite netbook colours (after white and red) is Blue, and this post covers all the really good looking blue netbooks I could find.
Blue is a good colour for your netbook-
- Blue creates a feeling of calm and tranquility.
- Importantly, blue gives the perception of dependability and loyalty.
- People are more productive in blue rooms.
- Netbook Blues are usually bright and uplifting.
So, let’s take a look at the blue netbooks available on the market today -
Asus EeePC Blue Netbooks
The Asus 1000HE netbook is a beautiful shade of blue and comes with a pretty standard configuration – 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N280 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, Bluetooth, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery. Its a 10 inch netbook and retails for $374.
Another example (although now pretty much out of date) is the Asus EeePC 2G in Sky Blue, retailing at around $400.
Samsung NC10 Blue Netbook.
The NC10 is one of the best looking netbooks – period. And the blue variant is a stunner -
It comes with a pretty decent configuration – Intel Atom Processor, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, etc. and retails for $458.
Acer Aspire One Blue Netbooks
The Acer Aspire is available in both Blue and Sapphire Blue variants. This is the 10 inch variant in Sapphire Blue, retailing for $349.
And this is the 9 inch variant in Blue, retailing for $299.
Thoughts on Blue Netbooks
When all is said and done the range is disappointing – the few netbooks that are available in blue look great, and I wish more netbook manufacturers started offering blue models and more models in blue. Blue is a good colour for a work netbook since it has a calming and productivity enhancing effect. I’m also finding that netbook configurations are getting pretty standardized across the various netbook manufacturers. The market seems to be asking for XP Home netbooks in 10″ and 9″ models with larger hard drives and Intel Atom processors.
