Best Ion Netbooks – Asus 1201N and HP Mini 311
The nVidia Ion graphics chip makes netbooks capable of playing HD video smoothly, and for playing graphic intensive games like WoW. Surprisingly, 2010 hasn’t brought any new Ion netbooks thus far, so here’s a comparative look at 2009′s best Ion netbooks based on LaptopMag‘s end of year study.

+ Intel 1.6GHz N330 dual-core processor = powerful, fast, capable of gaming
+ great video playback (the best of the lot) when combined with Adobe Flash 10.1 (30fps)
+ doesn’t overheat with constant usage
+ good specs – Windows 7 Home Premium, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD
+ seashell deign, an Asus trademark
+ not highly priced at $485
