Best Buy to Stock Up on Viliv Tablets, Netbooks
Best Buy is stocking up on Korean company, Viliv’s netbooks and slate PCs starting tomorrow, jkOnTheRun says. Inlcuded on the list are a few 5″ and 7″ slate PCs as well as the Viliv S7 which is a tablet netbook that you can use as a tablet. Viliv also has a 10″ S10 Blade convertible but there’s no word if BestBuy Mobile will be stocking up on that.
The Viliv S5 interests me. It comes with an Intel Atom processor Z520, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, 60GB HDD, 2 USB ports, wireless LAN (802.11b/g), and 3G HSPA broadband modem. The display is 4.8″ WSVGA widescreen touch-screen and it weights 13.8 oz. and is 1″ thick. OS is Windows XP. I think I like it for the size, and mobility but then again, if I wanted a 5″ tablet PC, I guess the Dell Mini 5 would be my first choice. It can be used as a smartphone.
Check out Viliv at BestBuy.
