Bandai/Namco Celebrates 55th Year with Miffy Netbook
Posted on July 9th, 2010 by Denise

Bandai/Namco has announced the cutest little machine, the limited edition Miffy netbook, to celebrate their 55th anniversary. It has a Miffy-themed lid with Miffy-themed software apps that looks really kawaii.
But cuteness aside, without the all the Miffy-themed goodies, it has standard netbook specs:
- 10.1″ 1024 x 600 display
- Intel Atom N450 processor
- GMA 3150 graphics
- 160GB HDD
- 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
- 3-cell battery (2.6 hours)
It will also be available with a Windows XP Home which sells for ¥79,800 ($902) and a Windows 7 Home Premium model for ¥89,800 ($1015). I guess it will only most likely sell to hard-core Miffy fans since you can get several regular netbooks for those prices.
Pre-order is scheduled for July 9th to September 30th, and shipping is expected late September.
