Asus Launches Eee PC 1005HA Product Page
Asus has been phasing out their Eee netbooks left, right and center in the UK and France, but they recently put up a product page for the Eee PC 1005HA which they’re also calling “Seashell”, the same moniker as their Eee PC 1008HA. Both models have a seashell-inspired design and looks almost exactly alike, except that the 1005HA is a bit thicker and heavier.
The clincher, however, is that the battery on the newer 1005HA model is user replaceable. No need to be an Asus technician to be able to replace the battery. The 1005HA comes with a choice of batteries: Li-ion Battery 3-Cell 2.2Ah(23W/h), which runs for 4 hours; the 6-Cell 2.2Ah(48W/h), which runs for 8.5 hours; and the 2.8Ah(63W/h) battery that Asus claims could go for an amazing 10.5 hours. It also comes in four colors: black, white, pink and blue.
