Acer Review, Asus Review – Netbook 10

The Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005PR is up and available for pre-order from Amazon for $399.99.

It’s physical similarities to the Eee PC 1005PE are unmistakable. As a matter of fact, you’ll probably mistake one for the other. You’re going to have to power the thing up before you see the difference. The 1005PR has a high resolution 1366 x 768 pixel HD display and comes with a built-in Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator. Another difference is that the PE boasts of a 14 hour battery life, while the PR is only listing 11.

Here are the technical details as per Amazon:

• Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz, 512KB L2 Cache)
• 10.1-Inch Color-Shine 1366X768 WXGA LED Display
• Intel UMA graphics with Broadcom Crystal HD Accelerator

Personally, I don’t think I can keep all the Ps and Hs and whathaveyous straight in my head anymore. I really need a list. I just think they’re all Asus, so they’re all good.
