The new line of Asus Eee PCs such as the 1015P, 1016P and 1018P were shown with USB 3.0. Now, Asus just announced that they’ve already integrated the USB 3.0 in their N series notebooks, the netbooks mentioned previously, as well as their Eee Box 1510U/1210U. They’ve also adopted it on their motherboards.

The USB 3.0 and their PCIe x4 bridge chip is said to have “resulted in blistering fast performance that outstrips other solutions by as much as 74.38%”. Asus has also developed a standalone PCIe x4 card solution to ensure backward-compatibility with an older Asus machine.
