Asus Eee PC 1215N with Atom D525 and Optimus, Up for Pre-Order

The 12.1″ Asus Eee PC 1215N is up for pre-order from Excaliberpc.com.
I’m actually looking forward to this because it will come with NVDIA’s Optimus technology, which, as you know, automatically switches between Intel’s low powered graphic and the NVIDIA graphics, depending on your usage. The Eee PC 1215N also comes with the dual core 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 processor which you’d normally see in desktops.
Here’s a list of the technical specs to refresh your memory:
- 12.1″ 1366 x 768 display
- 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 processor
- Nvidia ION 2 graphics
- 2GB DDR2 RAM
- 250 or 320GB HDD

Price is at $499.00, and estimated shipping date is August 31st.
