Acer Review, Asus Review – Netbook 10

Netbooked.net spotted the blink-and-youll-miss-it appearance of Asus’ product page for the Asus Eee PC 1015P which momentarily went live before it was quickly taken down again. It’s still listed on the Eee PC menu, but the link to the page has been taken down.

We already have a general idea of what to expect. The Asus Eee PC 1015P is technically a 1005P with a matte display, aluminum chassis, chiclet keyboard and a touchpad that looks to have been taken from the T91MT.

Here’s the official list of technical specs:

• Intel Atom N450 processor
• 1GB RAM
• 160 / 250 / 320GB HDD
• Windows 7 Starter + Express Gate
• 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
• VGA, 3x USB, LAN, audio jacks, card reader
• 0.3MP webcam
• 6-cell 63Wh battery – 13.5 hours / 6-cell 56Wh battery – 12 hours / 6-cell 48Wh battery – 10.5 hours / 3-cell 23Wh battery – 5 hours
• 262 x 178 x 23.6 mm
• 1.1 – 1.25 kg / 2.43 – 2.76 pounds (depends on battery)
• Available in white, black or blue

I’ve heard it can also come with Intel Atom N470, N455 or N475 processors. I’m just not sure if that’s an option you can get with the 1015P or we’ll have to wait for upgraded models with a different designation.
