Asus Eee PC 1005PEM Newest Netbook with Atom N550
Intel announced their 1.5GHz dual core Atom N550 processor so of course, we can expect a barrage of netbooks with said processor to come out left, right and center. Recently announced is the Asus Eee PC 1005PEM which will run the new chip. We also know that it will support 2GB of DDR3 memory and handle 720p HD video.
It will ship for €349 in Europe and would probably drop once it becomes available in the US. It will also be available in black, white, red and pink.
Another netbook on Asus’ lineup is the Asus Eee 1015PDG which is listed as having a 1.66GHz processor. Whether it’s using an older one or the specs are wrong, we’ll be able to verify that as soon as we get more info.
