Asus Eee PC 1001PX Now Available from ExcaliberPC

The Asus Eee PC 1001PX is making its way into online stores in the US, making an appearance at ExcaliberPC.com for $279.

Technical Specs are as follows:

  • Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) Processor
  • 10.1″ WSVGA (1024×600) LED Backlight Display
  • 1GB DDR2 Memory
  • 160GB Hard Drive
  • 3-Cell Battery (22W/h) – up to 4.5 Hours of Battery Life
  • Microsoft Windows XP Home Preloaded

It’s a budget version of the Asus Eee PC 1001P, hence the lower capacity hard drive and the Windows XP OS. The 1001P sells for $329.79 from Amazon and has a 250GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter.
