Posted on May 12th, 2010 by Denise
The long-awaited Asus Eee Keyboard finally starts shipping from Amazon. Okay so it’s long-awaited not because people are actually waiting in line to get it but it’s been almost a year and a half (more or less) since this product has been introduced, and that’s a loooong time to wait for something.
If you still haven’t memorized the details, the EeeKeyboard has the following tech specs:
- Intel Atom N270
- 1GB DDR2 RAM
- MS Windows XP Home
- Ultra Wide Band built in transmitter and exernal reciever
- WLAN 802.11 b/g/n; 10/100/1000 LAN; Bluetooth V2.1
- 5″ 800×480 LED multi-touch display
- High-speed wireless N networking for faster wireless connectivity
- HDMI out from keyboard and UWB receiver; VGA out; 3xUSB 2.0
which was state-of-the-art and top-of-the-line when it was announced a year and a half ago. I mean, come on… Intel Atom N270 processor? And you’re going to be paying $599.00 for this. Anyhoo, if you do get one, let us know how it is.
