Asus’ Ebook Readers Out March, 2010?

Asus ebook reader

Asustek’s promised eBook reader might become a reality to the US and Eropean markets as early as March, 2010, according to cens.com.

The ebook will come in 6- and 9-inch e-Ink variants, with the possibility of a dual, touchscreen models, and a few (if not all) options of connectivity including 3G, and WiFi. WiMax-enabled readers will also be released depending on the expansion of WiMax networks.

Ebook readers are a lot of fun, and I pretty much enjoy them myself, but for an average person, you can also use your ordinary netbook as an ebook reader. Or you can get a Dualbook, if you’d like both an ebook reader and a netbook.

Asus execs also assured the general reading public that the retail of both reader and ebooks will be competitive with the Amazon Kindle and the Sony eReader.
