The combination of a an Asus 1005HGO with built in 3G module means battery life won’t ever be a big problem for you. 6.5hours of battery life, Windows 7, the Eee PC… Orange is handing it all to our UK users on a golden – orange – platter.

Not a bad deal, despite the soon-to-be-shoddy N270 processor (power-saving PineView processors are coming out starting January 2010). As an added bonus, you also get a TWO year warranty. Not bad!
Pricing
The netbook is available for £50 with a basic 1GB monthly allowance 18-month contract. It’s free with any other 18month or 2 year contract. Pricing per month ranges from £30 to £40 for plans of 1GB, 3GB and 5GB monthly allowances. Each plan includes a certain amount of text messages. The monthly GB allowance can be increased if you’re a heavy web surfer.

Fun Fact: a Windows XP version of the Asus 1005HGO is available with T-Mobile in Macedonia. Sadly there’s no news of a 1005HGO making its way stateside. You’ll just have to settle for the 10 hour battery life no-3G Asus 1005H.
