Asus 1005HA with Windows 7 already a bestseller!

Windows 7 just came out today, and the Windows 7 pre-loaded Asus 1005HA has already reached slots #9 and #24! The blue Asus 1005HA is slightly cheaper at $387 and occupies the number 9 slot. The black Asus 1005HA is barely more ‘expensive’ at $400. Both netbooks come with high capacity 6 cell batteries capable of lasting 10.5 hours. The 1005HA is also the only Windows 7 bearing netbook to make the Amazon Bestselling list.

Clearly, Asus struck gold with the 1005HA netbook. While the previous (less attractive) Asus 1000HE was a best seller as well, the sleek seashell chasis of the 1005HA – combined with the long battery life – has been instrumental in the near-monopoly the  1005HA has on the best selling list.
