Apple iPad Dock Will Ship Later, Mid-April

If you’re getting your iPad as early as the first day of release (April 3rd), you’re going to have to wait for a few weeks before you can get the keyboard dock that you’re hoping to get with it.
According to SlashGear (and the Apple Store), the iPad Keyboard Dock, while already available for purchase, will only start shipping in mid-April.
Other iPad accessories, such as the iPad case ($39), the iPad Dock Connector to VGA adapter ($29) and the iPad Dock ($29) will all ship on April 3rd, but not the keyboard of the USB Power Adapter ($29) which will ship in late April. Is it just me or is Apple pushing back the shipping dates of the more important iPad accessories.
I can’t imagine typing comfortably on the tablet itself, with you having to hold it at an angle if you want to use both hands. If you’re holding it up, I can’t imagine typingg on it the way you type on your iPhone. Holding your iPhone is okay but holding a 10″ pad and typing with your thumbs just screams finger cramps. Or maybe, Apple is just telling us that, hey! The iPad can be used for typing documents but it is, primarily, a device designed more for viewing than input.
