Even more reason to look forward to the launch of 12″ Nvidia Ion bearing netbooks come end of October!

Adobe Flash Player 10.1 work better as it powers off the nVidia graphic processing unit. This means a lower power drain on the CPU and overall smoother performance. AND better battery life! Not bad eh? The only netbook that currently runs nVidia Ion is the HP 311, but we’ll be seeing a lot more by the end of the year including the 12″ Asus 1201, Lenovo Ideapad S2, and Samsung N510.

In the words of an Adobe executive,

With Flash Player moving to new mobile platforms, users will be able to experience virtually all Flash technology-based web content and applications wherever they are.

Ready for smoother HD video play back and better web gaming? It’s coming your way soon!
