A few days ago, DigitTimes broke the news that Quanta is building an 11.6″ netbook for HP this August. I have to say I’m excited! HP comes out with great products; we at Netbook10 are huge fans of the recent HP Mini 110 Mi and XP edition netbooks and the HP Mini 5101 business netbooks. [...]

Finally, a netbook worth drooling over! Acer did a poor job with their 11.6″ Aspire One 751h netbook which raised a lot of customer complaints, and may be slowing down production of the 751h. It also doesn’t help that Acer’s own subsidiary Gateway came out with it’s own (cheaper) 12″ netbook. But Acer is redeeming [...]

The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 straddles the netbook/notebook category and is Lenovo’s entry to the 12″ netbook categories that previously been (if not still) dominated by the Samsung’s NC20.
