11.6″ Acer Aspire 1410 Available for Pre-Order

The Acer Aspire 1410 (also known as the netbook-formerly-known-as-the Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T) has been spotted in Acer’s German site as well as up for pre-order at OfficeNation and CDW.

The machine packs quite a punch with its 1.4GHz Intel ULV SU3500 processor (not what you see everyday listed on the tech specs of a netbook), 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) LED backlit display (that too), GMA 4500MHD graphics, supports up to 4GB RAM and comes with a 250 GB HDD in it’s 11.6″ package.

Pretty impressive.

GadgetMix had it right by saying it’s got the “chasis of a netbook, heart of a notebook”. I’m pretty sure when we can finally get our hands on these, it’ll run circles around other netbooks in all tests. Hopefully. No word as to battery life yet, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

It’s also a little less expensive than I thought it would be, at with prices playing at $465 a pop, more or less. I’ll keep my eye out at Amazon for you.

Also, it looks like it can only get better. Acer has also come up with the Aspire 1810TZ. Take note of the Z, because this model has a 1.3GHz dual-core SU4100 chip.
