100 Netbooks for 100 App Developers from Intel

Intel App Store

We’re wondering about the Intel App Store and its possible future, but looks like Intel is geared up to launch their store and has come up with an incentive for app developers with the Intel® Atomâ„¢ Developer Challenge. They’re giving away a hundred Intel Atom-based netbooks to the developers of the first 100 apps that are submitted and validated.

In addition there are categories such as “Most Innovative Application” and “Most Elegant Application Design”. Grand price is an all-expense-paid trip to CES 2010.

Intel will be accepting apps from the following categories:
* Home and Lifestyle
* Entertainment
* Education and Reference
* Utilities and Security
* Games

If you’re interested, head on over to appdeveloper.intel.com and join the Developer Program.
