10.1″ Asus Eee PC 1001HA Coming Soon to the US?

We’ve heard about the Asus Eee PC 1001HA a couple of months ago and have been available in Europe and Asus China, but it has recently made it’s way to the global site which means that it might just be thiiiiis close to making an international appearance.
It looks pretty much like the almost legendary Asus Eee PC 1005HA, only with a textured lid because of a faux carbon fiber coating that minimizes fingerprints. It does have a slightly slower 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N270 CPU though.
- 1GB RAM
- 160GB HDD
- 802.11n Wi-Fi, 0.3MP webcam
- 3-cell or 6-cell battery
- Windows XP (no Windows 7 on this one)
It is also available in black or white on Amazon UK for £199.99. Availabily and price for the US market is still unavailable at this time.
