Acer Review, Asus Review – Netbook 10

Whether you celebrate Chinese New Year or not, I’m quite sure you might have use for these cool “Year of the Dragon” Microsoft Wireless Mouse (unless 1) you do not use a mouse, and 2) you have a Mac). Anyway, I was looking for pretty accessories when I came across these on Amazon.

It comes in gold and red for $34.95 $25.55. It comes wth a Nano Transceiver that you can leave connected to your device or stow away in the mouse, and ships with an AA alkaline battery that could last you for as long as 8 months. It can also be used by both left- and right-handed user.

The Pantech Element “waterproof” Android tablet is now available from AT&T for $299.99 with a 2-year contract. Contract-free, it costs $449.99.

The tablet has the following tech specs:

• 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor
• 1024 x 768 pixel capacitive multitouch display
• 1GB of RAM
• 16GB of storage
• 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth
• 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front-facing camera
• Google Andorid 3.2 Honeycomb

It’s not so much as waterproof but more splash-proof as AT&T says the tablet is waterproof “against incidental exposure to water” which means no, you can’t use it to Tweet while under the water in your bathtub or to take pictures while you’re swimming with whalesharks.

Outside the water though, it will have access to AT7T’s 4G LTE or HSPA+ networks. The Pantech Element Google Android tablet measures 8.4″ x 6.1″ x 0.4″ and weighs a little more than a pound.
